Lyla was so cute and happy this morning before church. She was flashing us lots of smiles. I think she looks so big in this picture. Makes me happy and sad at the same time. I think that pretty much sums up motherhood for me so far. Always rejoicing in the new developments but grieving the growing up part.
And because I just can't help myself here is another picture of Lyla having some tummy time. She is getting better at spending more time on her tummy and she even rolled over twice this week. Not on purpose but I know it's coming soon.
Hanni, I love, love, love the recent photos of Lyla! And, I have heard from a couple of other friends that grieving and rejoicing come hand in hand as they change so much that first year. It totally makes sense...
