Well I'm back. Sorry for the delay in my 365home project. I just keep telling myself that I"ll be happy that I kept going even if there are days or weeks missing. We made it to Fort Collins, CO, our home for the next six weeks. We are here on our summer assignment with Campus Crusade for Christ. Adam will be taking 4 seminar classes and I get the blessing of just getting to be Lyla's mom this summer, no ministry responsibilities. I have some grand plans for personal development and growth though and I'm excited for some things the Lord has led me to study.
Lyla was a champ in the car, 15 hours of driving in two days with a stop at a hotel. She is having a little harder time since we arrived though. We think it might be her teeth but if you think of us we would appreciate your prayers. She's been waking up several times a night screaming and nothing seems to console her. Poor Baby!
Here are a few pictures of our first few days here.
Lyla hanging out in the car. She did so good considering how long she was in her car seat.
We bought a few new toys for her to play with in the car. This is how she decided to play with her new ball. She would wrap her toes and fingers aournd it and move it up in down. Our sweet little monkey.
Yesterday Lyla decided to start crawling and our apartment here has some low things she can climb up on so she decided she would do that to. She's been crawling ever since. I can't believe it.
This is how Adam found her today. Yikes our baby is really on the move now.
I made this chicken curry salad for dinner last night. It looked so pretty I thought I better take a pictures.
My two loves in their white t-shirts hanging out in the morning. How cute is that?
And finally my sweet girl finally fell asleep after screaming for a while. We gave her teething gel and tylenol and she finally calmed down. I feel so bad for her. I hope her teeth arrive soon because this really stinks.
Well there you have it, a few things we've been up to the last few days. I'll do my best to show you our life here in Fort Collins the next few weeks.
