Once again I'm behind on my photos for this week. Adam has been gone for 8 days and Lyla decided to start teething which meant her not taking very long naps and her going to bed way later then normal. Hence why I'm behind. Adam is on his way home as I write this and I'm so excited to see him. Here are a few photos from our week.
My friend Elizabeth was able to get free Minnesota Zoo passes at the library and invited us along. It was a beautiful day and it was so nice to get outside. Lyla had a nice nap in the Ergo while I pushed the empty stroller. Funny how that goes. Thanks Elizabeth for a great day and for taking this photo.
Tear

My mom actually took this photo while I was catching up on some sleep. I had to add it because it shows Lyla's sweet little face and one little tear.

Lyla is suddenly much more active. She is constantly wanting to grab things and is always wanting something in her hands. I put her in the Bumbo chair while I eat to keep her occupied. This is what it looked like when we were done. She is now grabbing things and purposely throwing them. Isn't she a little young for that?
Rolled Over
Tonight before bed Lyla rolled over from her back to her stomach. She has been rolling from her stomach to her back for a few weeks but tonight she figured out how to do it the other way. We'll see how long it takes her to combine it all together. Look out world. Lyla is on the move!
That's really advanced for her age, to be able to roll from her stomach to her back, and now vice-versa. As for grabbing things and throwing them, she's learning about cause and effect... exploring the objects around her. It's her way of 'learning' about her environment. If she grabs a toy, presses it and it makes a sound... that's a cause-effect that she's discovered.... or if you give her back the toys she has dropped, that's the effect.... she's really such a smart and very adorable cookie!! I enjoy her pics and all your stories on her.
