Hello! We are back from our conference and after three weekends in a row of traveling we are all happy to be home for good for a while. Below are some pictures to catch up for the last few days since I didn't have good access to the internet. Enjoy!

Packing Up Again

We have been packing up and leaving a lot lately. Poor Lyla has spent a lot of time in her car seat. Good thing she is a good little traveler. We are becoming expert packers. I hope to share our strategy in how we pack soon.

Thumb vs. Nuk


My mom has been coming and helping me on Thursdays. It has been such a blessing to have another set of hands and be able run errands without having to get Lyla in and out of the car. I'm so happy they get to spend such good time together. My mom is wonderful with her too. I love this picture because it shows how Lyla still hasn't made up her mind if she is going to be a thumb sucker or a Nuk baby. She goes back and forth. Here she decided on her thumb. Only time will tell which one will win.

Crazy Hair


Lyla's hair continues to have a mind of it's own. It has become her signature feature. If we had a dollar for every time someone commented on her hair we would have a good start to her college fund. This is how I found her after her nap on Saturday. It's getting crazier. I think we may take her in for a little trim this week. Don't worry not much just enough to help it grow out well.

Happy to Be Home


I think Lyla knows when we are home. She just seems happier and more relaxed. Here she is getting some good snuggle time with Daddy. My two loves!
